Come and join 150 civic activists
and media professionals who will come together to explore ways to leverage the
power of digital technologies to foster civic engagement and advance social
change.
“@Social Media’s PACE” Fair
The @Social Media’s PACE
fair will feature panel discussions, concurrent workshops, consultancy booths,
and networking activities for the exchange of ideas and expertise. NGOs will
discuss how to advance their missions, widen their reach, and amplify their
impact through digital activism. Media and marketing professionals will
contribute to the debate by exploring the increased convergence between social
media and traditional media outlets.
A networking game and digital
auction will allow participants to earn prizes from sponsors to support their organizations
in enhancing digital activism and making a difference in their community. In
addition to prizes such as free website design and software, sponsors will also
provide on-the-spot consultancies to participants on ways to improve their
online presence.
